Skye started out as a tax preparer and bookkeeper in 1979. She then went on to prepare taxes for a few years for H&R Block. She was asked to setup an accounting system in 1985 and has been setting up accounting systems for small businesses ever since. She established Sky Bookkeeping & Computer Service in 1988, and ran the business in California, Nevada, Connecticut and New Mexico.

She loves seeing the smile on a client's face when the accounting system finally works for them. She teaches clients how to avoid giving away control of their business to the bookkeeper while helping the bookkeeper to take pride in their work and remain honest.
